Hunting dates are determined by CPW and we structure packages on five-day hunts with a additional "pack in" and "pack out" days. Archery dates are pre-determined with some flexibility for additional purchase days. Second and third season rifle has some flexibility as well. Hunts include campsite accommodations with tent housing, cot, chairs, shower tent, human waste tent, camp kitchen, three meals a day and heat. A professional guide will accommodate hunters and assist with calling, navigating and game retrieval. Hunters are responsible for travel to and from camp, appropriate clothing for all weather conditions, sleeping bag/pillow and weapon. Hunts are structured as one guide and two hunters, unless otherwise agreed upon.

A 50% deposit is required to secure a hunt. Hunt Prices do not include State hunting license/tag, or travel. Gratuities are how to keep good guides coming back. They are expected between 10% to 20% based on the overall hunting experience even if you don't harvest an animal. Thank you for keeping this in mind when wrapping up your hunting adventure.
Combo includes an elk and deer hunt together during the same five day hunt. One on one hunts are structured as one guide with one hunter. We can accommodate two hunters with one guide, but prefer to have two hunters know each other. for obvious reasons.

In this Agreement, it's important to note that HK has a Wound Policy that terminates the hunt if hunter draws blood. Every effort will be made to retrieve the animal. Alcohol is permitted under certain circumstances. Illegal drug usage is grounds for dismissal and determination is per the Outfitter's discretion .

Unit 681 is over the counter for elk during archery, 2nd Rifle and 3rd Rifle seasons. Elk 1st and 4th Rifle and all Deer seasons require a limited license obtained through the draw. If you are interested in doing a combo hunt, call us. We can advise you with the draw and likeliness of obtaining a tag. Primary draw deadline is typically the first week of April. Secondary draw deadline is June 30th with a 100% priority for youth hunters. This could be a great opportunity for your young one to get a tag that they wouldn't likely get until adulthood. Applicants who desire Elk 1st or 4th Rifle are typically successful with 1 to 2 preference points. Applicants for Deer can be obtained the first year for archery and usually require 1 to 23 preference points depending on which rifle season and resident/non-resident. Let us help you navigate this process.
Please Visit the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website for more information on laws, licenses, and unique hunting options (such as youth extended options and hybrid draw) and/or call us with any questions. We are here to help you feel confident with your hunting process and experience.
We love our customers, so feel free to email, call or text with questions.
